Kerala State Lottery Department has rolled out their prestigious bumper lottery draw "Thiruvonam Bumper-2017" with a roaring  "10 Crore" ever highest first prize Jackpot.......  Since it is the 50th year of forming State Lottery Department to conduct lotteries in Kerala, the expectations of lottery lovers were running high about this year's Thiruvonam Bumper. The Kerala lottery officials didn't  disappoint any exceptions...Now the record breaking biggest ever Kerala bumper lottery tickets are on the stands for sale. Other than this 10 Crore first prize, there are 10 second prizes of Rs. 50 lakh, 20 third prizes of Rs. 10 lakh, 20 forth prizes of 5 lakh, 90 fifth prizes of 1 lakh....and so on down to the last and tenth prize of Rs. 500/-. Rs. 63,81,00,000 is waiting there to be disbursed to 2,98,950 lucky tickets on 20 Sep 2017, the drawing date. The draw will be held at Sree Chithira Auditorium, Pazhavangadi, East Fort, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

As many of you know that the state lottery draws were started  in 1967 in Kerala. Since conducted directly by State Lottery Department under the Ministry of Taxes, Kerala state lotteries have earned the trustworthiness of the people all over Kerala. The start was very simple with a lottery bearing an MRP of Rs. 1/- and the first prize offered of Rs. 50,000/-. That lottery was launched on November 1, 1967 and was drawn on January 26, 1968. Special occasions were selected for the launching and the draw as November 1st is the formation day of Kerala state and January 26th all of you know the Republic Day of India.

    Now at the age of 50, State Lottery Department is conducting seven weekly lotteries in a week and six bumper lotteries in an year.

In all these lotteries "Thiruvonam Bumper" draw which is related to "Onam" the state festival of Kerala. So this draw is conducted most grandly with fascinating prize structure. It's a 10 Crore lottery.... and it will be the ever highest prize offered in a non-rolling pre printed raffle all over India. As the lottery released as a part of golden jubilee celebrations of Kerala lotteries, It will be called "SUVARNA JUBILEE THIRUVONAM BUMPER-2017".

COST OF THE TICKET : Rs. 250/- (Face Value + 12% GST)



DRAW DATE : SEPTEMBER 20, 2017 (20/09/2017) WEDNESDAY

FIRST PRIZE (1 Number; Common to all series) : Rs. 10 CRORE

SECOND PRIZE (10 Numbers; One prize in each series) : Rs. 50 LAKH

THIRD PRIZE (20 Numbers; Two prizes in each series) : Rs. 10 LAKH

FOURTH PRIZE (20 Numbers; Two prizes in each series) : Rs. 5 LAKH

FIFTH PRIZE (Up to 90 Numbers; By drawing last 5 digits once) : Rs. 1 LAKH

SIXTH PRIZE (Up to 27,000 Numbers; By drawing last 4 digits 30 times) : Rs. 5,000/-

SEVENTH PRIZE (Up to 36,000 Numbers; By drawing last 4 digits 40 times) : Rs. 3,000/-

EIGHTH PRIZE (Up to 37,800 Numbers; By drawing last 4 digits 42 times) : Rs. 2,000/-

A total prize money of Rs. 63,81,00,000/- is to be disbursed in 2,98,950 prizes. Rs. 6,38,10,000 will be paid to the agents as commission for the winning tickets.

Terms and Conditions

1) One should affix his\her name and address on the place given behind the ticket as soon as it is bought.

2) 1 to 4 prizes are drawn only from the sold tickets. Number of other prizes will be depended on the number of ticket sold .

3) 1st to 5th prizes and consolation prizes will be deducted by a 10% of  the prize money which shall be awarded to the agents who sold the winning tickets. 10% of the prize money of 56th to 10th category prizes will be awarded as the agency commission from the Government fund.

4) The winners should surrender the winning tickets within 30 days of draw. Winners of 1 to 4th prize shall submit the tickets to the lottery Directorate with relevant documents directly or through Nationalized / Scheduled / State or District Co-operative bank. Copy of winning tickets dully filled with the name and address of the winner, two passport size photos attested by a Gazette officer, self attested Pan Card copy and Identity proof with photos and address affixed on the ticket, a receipt dually signed affixing a revenue stamp for Rs 1/- on it and fill with winners name, signature and address, copy of Bank account pass book of the winner with IFSC code shall be produced along with the claim application.

5) Claims from outside of Kerala should be directly submitted to the directorate lotteries.

6) Forged or damaged tickets will be denied from prize money.One ticket shall be awarded with one highest prize only. Income tax and other taxes if any will be deducted from the money as per current laws.
